Must take some photos of the rest, but I am currently tackling a Burda pattern I found at an op shop recently. I would guess it was an inclusion with a sewing magazine, as it is only in a paper front in a plastic bag, with minimal illustrations. Or maybe that’s just Burda.</p><p> I don’t think I have used a Burda pattern before ( other than tracing some from the Burda magazines at the library years ago). I did remember that seam allowances are NOT included. I find that a very odd “point of difference” to leave something so important out! </p><p>Some issues so far - the interfacing I used was too thick, I will have to do the top stitching on the 201k because of all the layers with the facing, front and collar to sew through.</p><p>I tacked it together with the 66k - love the look of the pink basting stitches against the brown pinstripe! I tried it on but found I had to alter the shape a lot for a good fit. I then tried to recut the pattern to match, but I think I forgot to factor in taking in the back panel to match the front. </p><p>A work in progress! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5LXqZbEGZKN3q3PEGq283zPuQQJfSccjsGgowYLfW-QoU7r3e4QI_10l7wG7lATrIoXfQh4OuILUScv_J5zsolgGKcv7ZEo9s9gXZrqgl9f-1ymtRuhoIUirWS3cSmxcbP9asHcjjuCTgEq-A8vaPBnAvMcNp2iYWBz434SUPSQkqjCXdcjEvtvnUoErB/s3264/F990D7FC-D0F8-42CD-B9F2-2FA25561B0CB.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5LXqZbEGZKN3q3PEGq283zPuQQJfSccjsGgowYLfW-QoU7r3e4QI_10l7wG7lATrIoXfQh4OuILUScv_J5zsolgGKcv7ZEo9s9gXZrqgl9f-1ymtRuhoIUirWS3cSmxcbP9asHcjjuCTgEq-A8vaPBnAvMcNp2iYWBz434SUPSQkqjCXdcjEvtvnUoErB/s320/F990D7FC-D0F8-42CD-B9F2-2FA25561B0CB.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-69173625363349870192023-07-04T22:04:00.001+10:002023-07-04T22:04:11.782+10:00Hello poor neglected blog…<p> Oh my gosh it has been a while, I seem to have fallen off the blog wagon big time!</p><p>I have been sewing, just not taking many photos of my creations! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUGOMF7CVuyuJQ-ZDOAQaH7DMHaZCSrdQqD5bnlA2Y-aQ7xzUZtPj1javGuudVRkvHyUgLBuIwd3y8A-L3ZSFv34ikDI0ua6iUETdB8v37ThyUtycfIu2YM3WBBb8lH9Nqz0nMJL8QMlGKbjhexaBpyFq1xhJgQ86QcfS63q29ICm2CO6G866gC-gLO5Bb/s3264/8240D026-763E-4196-90E9-0C16E69AF301.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUGOMF7CVuyuJQ-ZDOAQaH7DMHaZCSrdQqD5bnlA2Y-aQ7xzUZtPj1javGuudVRkvHyUgLBuIwd3y8A-L3ZSFv34ikDI0ua6iUETdB8v37ThyUtycfIu2YM3WBBb8lH9Nqz0nMJL8QMlGKbjhexaBpyFq1xhJgQ86QcfS63q29ICm2CO6G866gC-gLO5Bb/s320/8240D026-763E-4196-90E9-0C16E69AF301.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div> I found some lovely pre cut strips at a Salvos store a few weeks ago, I knew it would come in handy for a project. I sewed some up this week -into a couple of pouches for a heat pack. One of my dearest friends his recovering from surgery, and asked if I could make her a pouch for a heat pack. I was happy to oblige and knew I had the perfect fabric - her favourite colour is orange!<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2Y451vb0Wg4DzjehIJKsGdJMg8ptrh99Gucqtk972QHpjb6LUGjCqYZ7l6IoR3XAIfgWHx4IGJ8f2h4kqBGgGIXq1MJjigwhcBVNugsTJW5crgtKC05ohVU8phSxE49Ww0IWm4SYJsxdwgJucRc_jWUseYHvlqM0o9UWO36Gb5DMDJ16DXvYTXHZPUC-K/s3264/766AB755-364A-4867-A1F7-5B42A1CF21DE.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2Y451vb0Wg4DzjehIJKsGdJMg8ptrh99Gucqtk972QHpjb6LUGjCqYZ7l6IoR3XAIfgWHx4IGJ8f2h4kqBGgGIXq1MJjigwhcBVNugsTJW5crgtKC05ohVU8phSxE49Ww0IWm4SYJsxdwgJucRc_jWUseYHvlqM0o9UWO36Gb5DMDJ16DXvYTXHZPUC-K/s320/766AB755-364A-4867-A1F7-5B42A1CF21DE.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div> Another project - last week - was finally making a tailor’s pressing ham. I don’t know where I put the blue moleskin fabric I had set aside for this, so instead used this wool blend piece - another op shop find. Filled with sawdust, it could have been stuffed even firmer but I just could not be bothered sitting there spooning in any more sawdust, spoonful by spoonful!<p></p><p> I did have The Dog for company - he came & sat right next to me on the floor while I was stuffing the sawdust in. It has curved seams - I have to re draft the pattern because it is not a good fit yet, currently it is just basted together, so easy to baste using a long stitch on my hand cranked Singer! One I fix the pattern & re sew the seams I will be able to press the curves properly on my new tailor’s ham.</p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-69117406681448919652023-04-27T21:49:00.002+10:002023-04-27T21:49:24.913+10:00Clara in colour<p> I have not done much drawing for ages, but on the weekend I decided to try a sketch of my 66K singer, Clara. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMSujyNFqK8-VSHNbvKO8Ph7IuyPJmuReV2oduxBShONpTE-g8tHKSWBIzFmZ2ToHkcK4IFHJrwaBP_TASOPEUQkC8K87R_E6rOkrMJzIHW4AURHsIJNAR0iWmnBpCNON4cLQMELdESY8aR-IPqtRWbDID6emG0Jg9m_GtXALm2UwcbCaV2YITpa7OTQ/s3264/E3F81470-87BD-43C3-A40F-034AF8B51378.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMSujyNFqK8-VSHNbvKO8Ph7IuyPJmuReV2oduxBShONpTE-g8tHKSWBIzFmZ2ToHkcK4IFHJrwaBP_TASOPEUQkC8K87R_E6rOkrMJzIHW4AURHsIJNAR0iWmnBpCNON4cLQMELdESY8aR-IPqtRWbDID6emG0Jg9m_GtXALm2UwcbCaV2YITpa7OTQ/s320/E3F81470-87BD-43C3-A40F-034AF8B51378.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">First attempt, sketched with my Copic sketch fineliner. </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3R5olpntwAaJ3WzGIkpQFwdwgjI8TWDrCqhoNVo1O9lDMwVm89PsDcp1lrPnmbsJLc5D9WnZ_GKxaeT3btynAnJ7AYzq2sHSMBchd7mjDgPz_wBQdt53Ajrg3Wm-KNe7LHgjOpTZZh3ioaq_XTnJHv59ifTHI-AKDWDRbh9kJFkfcUPo-uF2ki_znWg/s3264/97BBE4D4-17B4-4E74-9ECF-390CA0E6D8A7.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3R5olpntwAaJ3WzGIkpQFwdwgjI8TWDrCqhoNVo1O9lDMwVm89PsDcp1lrPnmbsJLc5D9WnZ_GKxaeT3btynAnJ7AYzq2sHSMBchd7mjDgPz_wBQdt53Ajrg3Wm-KNe7LHgjOpTZZh3ioaq_XTnJHv59ifTHI-AKDWDRbh9kJFkfcUPo-uF2ki_znWg/s320/97BBE4D4-17B4-4E74-9ECF-390CA0E6D8A7.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Second attempt - coloured with watercolour markers, blended with water. Another vest- bodice top - I have three now with plans for more ( fabric from the upholstery section in Spotlight); op shop shirt ( the one I unpicked a gazillion tiny beads off); and a new skirt finished last night. My own pattern - trying to clone my favourite op shop skirt. 8 panels, lining/petticoat, and rows of decorative top stitching near the hem. Completely forgot to factor in that there is only 30m of top stitch thread on the same sized reel as a 100m regular reel, and the bobbin used nearly half the reel! Between moving house, going back to work, & life in general - there has not been a lot of crafting going on around here of late! </p><p>But I did finally get to visit the new <a href="http://annebonnyslocker.com.au/" target="_blank">Anne Bonney’s Locker</a> vintage sewing machine store in Hawthorn last week, where I bought a hand crank for Clara, my 66K. ( There may have been a detour via GJ’s Fabrics in Fairfield on the way too…)</p><p>Fitting the crank was super easy - I was so fortunate that my machine already had a spoked wheel, so I did not need to change the wheel over. One bolt, tightened with an adjustable wrench, make sure everything is lined up ok and ta-dah! She sews about 4-6 stitches - or about 1 cm - for each turn of the wheel with the crank. Much faster than just turning the wheel with my hand!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW_Ka84yVe0qjpBtUnTTxZww6HuoIg0mTPsNbIY8ywYSX8DAugY3Q5ZMwCOaf40kMvJZrxXFAO4z0uqk4co03Sndy2J3hE_bw2NHW-DoOX_KB1ieEFMBBOuLR53aaR86jKBRSlTm9CNQqO8k5WDy5vWkLN17N4MIW39EgJMA22D7CcW66fcqzsDEWH9Q/s3264/8D2840D0-AC03-4E34-92C8-7ACB7C5BAB39.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW_Ka84yVe0qjpBtUnTTxZww6HuoIg0mTPsNbIY8ywYSX8DAugY3Q5ZMwCOaf40kMvJZrxXFAO4z0uqk4co03Sndy2J3hE_bw2NHW-DoOX_KB1ieEFMBBOuLR53aaR86jKBRSlTm9CNQqO8k5WDy5vWkLN17N4MIW39EgJMA22D7CcW66fcqzsDEWH9Q/s320/8D2840D0-AC03-4E34-92C8-7ACB7C5BAB39.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB0v72LpsB_fVknwaCdqp3B_8WXCJa4va6CKN4K5-aic0LLzB5JqMjn8iKIyurzMmGl39Ra7FD3yzf4vke-jsmcLyQ3f2lMTRVERHrX1IHncpcOeSd9iOCfbs_UeJZws-7pRsCOG0vBohdQdofsLWKPX2bKfDzddYwMI79CozKtUfuyPQyDUEnfnt8zQ/s3264/70D86C01-A4DA-43D9-8396-D7B17584F2B2.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB0v72LpsB_fVknwaCdqp3B_8WXCJa4va6CKN4K5-aic0LLzB5JqMjn8iKIyurzMmGl39Ra7FD3yzf4vke-jsmcLyQ3f2lMTRVERHrX1IHncpcOeSd9iOCfbs_UeJZws-7pRsCOG0vBohdQdofsLWKPX2bKfDzddYwMI79CozKtUfuyPQyDUEnfnt8zQ/s320/70D86C01-A4DA-43D9-8396-D7B17584F2B2.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1GbqyaoBKZQBx2qjuLqoJYhglyFbXqJqKV8es9oy1UKXjdRjM7f7T_eq4udLoStSCU4Dk3coy2rnTLQsxHJ7e5UM6htynSf0qaJIafCp4wOOwFXtarr5R9RMHXB8l4mJgh7DwnWKfilTv394KqxaNjbLKEdSb1t9j6eC8BcG3io_g9kbQuDCQrpUdIg/s3264/22467D1D-6B64-4A34-A93A-C4F0AA51648B.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1GbqyaoBKZQBx2qjuLqoJYhglyFbXqJqKV8es9oy1UKXjdRjM7f7T_eq4udLoStSCU4Dk3coy2rnTLQsxHJ7e5UM6htynSf0qaJIafCp4wOOwFXtarr5R9RMHXB8l4mJgh7DwnWKfilTv394KqxaNjbLKEdSb1t9j6eC8BcG3io_g9kbQuDCQrpUdIg/s320/22467D1D-6B64-4A34-A93A-C4F0AA51648B.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p>Clara does not have a cover - nor a proper timber base yet - so I pulled out all my sewing themed fabrics, and sewed up a cover. Quilting the layers together now old sheets for the backing, and some wadding scraps inside for a bit of structure) before I turn & shape it into the cover. All done with the hand crank. There is no reverse on a 66k, so when I put the pieces together I turned them to stitch back the other way. Now I am just leaving long tails and knotting them. </p><p>So much quicker to make a bobbin now with the handcrank fitted too! </p><p>When I finish the cover I will post a photo of it in place. A nice cosy blanket to keep her warm, now the weather has turned.</p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-25876787249383957692023-02-17T22:36:00.001+11:002023-02-17T22:36:33.989+11:00Lost crafty treasures<p> Having a clean up I found some pre- blog craft treasures. I don’t even remember when I made the scarecrow - over 20 years ago I think. Unfortunately when I found him in the back of the cupboard his head had come off.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVFAxZGnCQuQso_neMBnxclKAfp0erSdmvlIJ4i_47rqWEuSLowIvHIOuFmSe_-TJfgAD6DBOyeZtQGbro9hKRehtxpcGbErlprP-cssbFHbaJBYcZruMfZIlm4I0GtTO172KrtnYQQrqDbKoeyCdBNZK7BBEr0dH3R0ERZm_h4RgRgjl9uEiXJ62lfQ/s2040/6A158642-AD00-4854-8EC0-7CC19ECAA970.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2040" data-original-width="1148" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVFAxZGnCQuQso_neMBnxclKAfp0erSdmvlIJ4i_47rqWEuSLowIvHIOuFmSe_-TJfgAD6DBOyeZtQGbro9hKRehtxpcGbErlprP-cssbFHbaJBYcZruMfZIlm4I0GtTO172KrtnYQQrqDbKoeyCdBNZK7BBEr0dH3R0ERZm_h4RgRgjl9uEiXJ62lfQ/s320/6A158642-AD00-4854-8EC0-7CC19ECAA970.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><p>The crocodile/ dragon hat was made for a dress up birthday party many years ago. It was put together over the top of a cap, with cork nostrils & felt eyes & teeth. Made in a bit of a hurry from memory, all stuck with craft glue! </p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6E1jh74ZuwbfO5RcrUsGbpaYSDU8-g2XmncyT_rnKg1v3VAKhT9hwI2wZmgpWqyYFghbDqiyrMKH4uxaBOBsXT2uv0Imep2h94dxtNTlYGHTwTShHyUYlQm_7vvI2zfxQaSQ9yVzGWvoICpvjOM2Lz2tXoAS1dv8-3Att2TB3xaiaZDhvs_Lu3lmRTQ/s2040/3B60C4D9-B2FD-434A-AE69-A270D6B370FE.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2040" data-original-width="1148" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6E1jh74ZuwbfO5RcrUsGbpaYSDU8-g2XmncyT_rnKg1v3VAKhT9hwI2wZmgpWqyYFghbDqiyrMKH4uxaBOBsXT2uv0Imep2h94dxtNTlYGHTwTShHyUYlQm_7vvI2zfxQaSQ9yVzGWvoICpvjOM2Lz2tXoAS1dv8-3Att2TB3xaiaZDhvs_Lu3lmRTQ/s320/3B60C4D9-B2FD-434A-AE69-A270D6B370FE.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfKc4_2PaX0Eq8ERFqk7Elus_OPtwDp9j5qqnFW-r34UiRMoahkyoYMOxkhNgn8mBsmgzl0QlVHoRolXE3LCWF_zD7cp6M1to6oBX2db5ASCLK0vaiq2xMedYZjXIE76ftOdtbzeAToBfqUTGYY9O71S4xhs1NSOWYN8WMKJmQjBRlSH6xGFDRBCfPng/s2040/2CFB0DB4-60F6-4CB8-95BE-6174EAC55831.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2040" data-original-width="1148" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfKc4_2PaX0Eq8ERFqk7Elus_OPtwDp9j5qqnFW-r34UiRMoahkyoYMOxkhNgn8mBsmgzl0QlVHoRolXE3LCWF_zD7cp6M1to6oBX2db5ASCLK0vaiq2xMedYZjXIE76ftOdtbzeAToBfqUTGYY9O71S4xhs1NSOWYN8WMKJmQjBRlSH6xGFDRBCfPng/s320/2CFB0DB4-60F6-4CB8-95BE-6174EAC55831.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-64934141268669684432023-01-18T22:53:00.002+11:002023-01-18T22:53:46.152+11:00Painting and decorating <p> I bought a trolley bag for work about 2 years ago ( or was it three? Covid made the last couple of years a bit wibbly wobbly!). I looked at some lovely coloured bags online, but they were only available overseas, & I really needed to be able to see if the trolley would work for me to hold my work stuff. </p><p>So I ended up with a nice, solid, very functional BUT totally boring black bag from Officeworks. I have always planned to try painting it, so I finally got around to it!</p><p>I started by masking off all the zips, and used some spray paint in grey, purple and green. It looked a bit crap, the green was super bright, & the colour was patchy and uneven. But I was not done! I mixed up some acrylic paint with my fabric medium, and started painting. Took about an hour and a half all up, but it was FUN! Pretty damn happy with the result too, the flowers just work over the patchy green. The purple was too bright so I toned it down with a blue- grey shade. </p><p> No worries about mixing my bag up with anyone else’s now! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2RXiUobPf8rzQ8yqbD6bGPEqtApWtwVG1O_tgCVmSP14FyU2665SqtqbNgC3KA73xfkZIINNexsQYxq6Y5VwxI1VZnAI6w3NWhDDapSnjeErhQHmNHu1iW-rCfVlk-knlorbRZgugPXEb2JrnD7ZINcOW4A1ASLqwc5NK16ytu0WmkeQmjUdDj1HXwQ/s3264/9DB4A0F9-25EF-4ED7-903D-1C8F94987C79.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2RXiUobPf8rzQ8yqbD6bGPEqtApWtwVG1O_tgCVmSP14FyU2665SqtqbNgC3KA73xfkZIINNexsQYxq6Y5VwxI1VZnAI6w3NWhDDapSnjeErhQHmNHu1iW-rCfVlk-knlorbRZgugPXEb2JrnD7ZINcOW4A1ASLqwc5NK16ytu0WmkeQmjUdDj1HXwQ/s320/9DB4A0F9-25EF-4ED7-903D-1C8F94987C79.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWZers0hYgVsDxSwB2V7cJz8qyLtevDFdZO5rKHRW5uObGhaX-dNLzFbe72zP1ObW0Cssq-vc3CXXFGJOLv0tW_JzKOiTR3DBFBf09hcAIfRcTzO_WciNePRm3lPXCQtBeAlC1ycqn2kDKEOUdLbXkP4pdjiyc_LbvUVI--cCCRgjq24_ZR1HAf0pJUQ/s3264/383138DF-E390-4BB4-960F-7F8D8C6B2C23.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWZers0hYgVsDxSwB2V7cJz8qyLtevDFdZO5rKHRW5uObGhaX-dNLzFbe72zP1ObW0Cssq-vc3CXXFGJOLv0tW_JzKOiTR3DBFBf09hcAIfRcTzO_WciNePRm3lPXCQtBeAlC1ycqn2kDKEOUdLbXkP4pdjiyc_LbvUVI--cCCRgjq24_ZR1HAf0pJUQ/s320/383138DF-E390-4BB4-960F-7F8D8C6B2C23.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-15254766740866593512022-12-29T13:33:00.000+11:002023-01-02T00:07:44.154+11:0066K in action!<p> Reading through my lovely vintage 1954 Singer book inspired me to get sewing again! And I also wondered if I could get my 66K to sew - without having to wait to buy a hand crank next year. I gave her another quick clean, & a few drops of oil, studied the manual and threaded up a bobbin by winding the balance wheel. Buoyed by my success, I threaded her up and ta-dah! She sews! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihxPQp-nf05V71lVdlfh8AX_7p15l3tb6KkWCMNwdAE9GpFE1U95EZFx0sQS4SegQNYQyN0KmzRwWL38xnrw-nzlQrqgsSaaRb3Sr8E6GU81aEbAQOQqHgrbPIR34Jcwgc3zbVEHtOk1WLRpHqt2FvV4M35vyPCvm4xMrnOIZc6kUAkKwXNmwTyiPHHQ/s3264/DD72CD37-2BBE-49FA-AF9B-C8787E293E76.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihxPQp-nf05V71lVdlfh8AX_7p15l3tb6KkWCMNwdAE9GpFE1U95EZFx0sQS4SegQNYQyN0KmzRwWL38xnrw-nzlQrqgsSaaRb3Sr8E6GU81aEbAQOQqHgrbPIR34Jcwgc3zbVEHtOk1WLRpHqt2FvV4M35vyPCvm4xMrnOIZc6kUAkKwXNmwTyiPHHQ/s320/DD72CD37-2BBE-49FA-AF9B-C8787E293E76.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">There is no backstitch, and the only adjustment is by winding the knob to the right of the Singer badge, this adjusts the stitch length. I had a look for a copy online, & found a review where someone said it was good because it had tips for an older model machine.</p><p> This got me thinking - which years was the book published? And so with a bit of searching ( World of Books, always my go-to for vintage and out of print books, came up trumps again!). I managed to find a 1954 edition - the same year as my 201K! </p><p>It is a gorgeous book and has a selection of colour plates that are just fabulous!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxAX2fzFC3ai01mN9q2sj-s8FNvTMzIRqxHvKLtESzLjVQePw5gcIn6y2ooUIdWESafuI4aALO8n0DedQW2Lnbnt1pg-kCuKQ7EUFlnWeTYunezRge3ryNzDnhGwPuv4QFM0XO89nodcdn6uWRId_Q7ThTONtJ1nCtRgX1VPaXMbD7fU5uI52bd7aJGA/s3264/F9C34A3E-E646-46FC-B9F5-092D2F74CC5D.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; We went to the Spring/ Autumn festival, had some lovely scones from the CWA tea room & a friendly chat with some of the lovely locals who were surprised that we had travelled to the festival - even though it is only a 45 minute drive! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> My H goes fishing at the res there regularly so had seen the posters for the event. I ducked into the op shop, and also finally got to visit Chrissie’s Timeless Treasures craft shop, where I bought a new fabric marking pencil that works really well! I seem to have misplaced my chalk marker pen in sorting out/ moving my sewing stuff from out in “ the shack” in the back yard, inside to the study. I’m sure it will turn up somewhere!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Anyway, the deal was that since I went to the op shop, my H got to go fishing after the festival. I sat in the car & did a quick pen & marker sketch of one of the gorgeous old buildings in Ballan. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjur4xfJJcVKqiDgwO1n6a3xuZAuIN9aLe-PUEWIWfCXJtLwe1N1Yuy8050-E2fLwU72qi_b7Gvzkd-SrT1a5_CZiFcWfJQOcB4aaDvPGkjaS9ISJm96OcJIOvqFPSX3_iN_dQ_QqPW1B6ejH-DS2z6TuVgh16VOhjqXqElkK2Bbz0FjZJJLPxFvdIRKA/s3264/7319FFAA-E6D9-4220-8C10-115BF1FEB052.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3264" data-original-width="2448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjur4xfJJcVKqiDgwO1n6a3xuZAuIN9aLe-PUEWIWfCXJtLwe1N1Yuy8050-E2fLwU72qi_b7Gvzkd-SrT1a5_CZiFcWfJQOcB4aaDvPGkjaS9ISJm96OcJIOvqFPSX3_iN_dQ_QqPW1B6ejH-DS2z6TuVgh16VOhjqXqElkK2Bbz0FjZJJLPxFvdIRKA/s320/7319FFAA-E6D9-4220-8C10-115BF1FEB052.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><br /></div><br /></div><br /><p></p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-71961825371223555702022-11-14T21:37:00.002+11:002023-04-17T22:46:57.173+10:00Life in reverse<p> Making a vest/ corset style vest has been on my to-do list for a while. I made a green fine corduroy practice one ( not sure I have posted it yet!) then sewed a blue cord vest but forgot I had tweaked the size a bit ( and I had done such a good job of lining it & turning it out the right way!) Lucky I had not made button holes when I tried it on & realised it was too big…</p><p>A couple of my favourite cos-tubers have sewn corset-style vests recently, including some that were reversible! I like the 2-for-one idea, & finally got this one sewn up over the last 2 weekends. I wore the purple side out today, & will try it with the floral side out later in the week ( although with this cold spell I might wait a few days!). Pretty happy with how it turned out! </p><p>Will have to start on the next one now, will do buttons & button holes next time, which is what I did with the first green one.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOp9IehKjnYjmmYINQF8tZbRxP7irE6TbB0afMkKpu1rD_ebUI8PnPX7TUHYFnn4dKD_Id8_MGuJmqrPjNHlKrf2a4rx8jDiscswXP3CWgQL8dA4dROiGVH__UfXGKJ8wIQbL6oTVxlswUki5eaG3x6-jnxDy7M-DN5uuwO0gOGk2XEIwBL3wm0zpI7g/s2261/6ACDBF85-F978-446C-A8A0-8FBE05366C9B.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2261" data-original-width="1601" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOp9IehKjnYjmmYINQF8tZbRxP7irE6TbB0afMkKpu1rD_ebUI8PnPX7TUHYFnn4dKD_Id8_MGuJmqrPjNHlKrf2a4rx8jDiscswXP3CWgQL8dA4dROiGVH__UfXGKJ8wIQbL6oTVxlswUki5eaG3x6-jnxDy7M-DN5uuwO0gOGk2XEIwBL3wm0zpI7g/s320/6ACDBF85-F978-446C-A8A0-8FBE05366C9B.jpeg" width="227" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6tQB8rp6J-0VcFjkfgsqGVyiz9hbIg0mIlHdrWCmWvebQQzv54TMIpsbguSxedJ6EYLSbinib2fOaSgMQUzW2NFJMmTQsMpZYaUhiVwaSQSXhqTmIQaQMUBWWvFbJleLhc1Mmd3GuHce3nxCdtFeUvOmFmJJxwSKEOmtiBe7mdUQbJAi5ByFurusqww/s1930/3B682455-BFC3-4630-A25D-C45096544C1C.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1930" data-original-width="1551" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6tQB8rp6J-0VcFjkfgsqGVyiz9hbIg0mIlHdrWCmWvebQQzv54TMIpsbguSxedJ6EYLSbinib2fOaSgMQUzW2NFJMmTQsMpZYaUhiVwaSQSXhqTmIQaQMUBWWvFbJleLhc1Mmd3GuHce3nxCdtFeUvOmFmJJxwSKEOmtiBe7mdUQbJAi5ByFurusqww/s320/3B682455-BFC3-4630-A25D-C45096544C1C.jpeg" width="257" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-32165098832312881412022-11-11T19:58:00.000+11:002023-01-02T00:08:21.665+11:00Sketching class<p> I signed up for a Domestika sketching class that I started a while back but have not gotten back to! I also signed up for the free “ sketching retreat” from <a href="https://sketchlikeanarchitect.teachable.com/p/sketching-retreat" target="_blank">Teachable</a> and then forgot about it until a few email reminders arrived! The course started on Wednesday, with about 10 X 30 minute videos posted each day for 3 days. They are available to watch & rewatch for free until Sunday night. I have watched a few, some fully & some skipping through.</p><p>I liked the “ Drawing a house with fine liners & coloured markers” tutorial. It comes with a printable house picture, so I downloaded & printed the house. I powered up my Kmart light box & traced the picture - but not with all the precise detail shown in the class. </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFnapXgdHpx42ZztETX8zaYlhUdsAGucWsRzih05glk0nOI-jrFinFNVwxAE6Bg6ShKe3KAPfBk6KOwteKdl-E4Y1cDBQ8jFhiJkjrDfgYvZIZKANNrA9k-lyEKGBfVb-X60XiJEQKKoTHBfMTir457haNDXqLUkVgZbVK2ISOTnhH142eUuq9vMRs3A/s3264/A034A361-1B03-45CB-9023-CADD60858C6D.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3264" data-original-width="2448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFnapXgdHpx42ZztETX8zaYlhUdsAGucWsRzih05glk0nOI-jrFinFNVwxAE6Bg6ShKe3KAPfBk6KOwteKdl-E4Y1cDBQ8jFhiJkjrDfgYvZIZKANNrA9k-lyEKGBfVb-X60XiJEQKKoTHBfMTir457haNDXqLUkVgZbVK2ISOTnhH142eUuq9vMRs3A/s320/A034A361-1B03-45CB-9023-CADD60858C6D.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><p></p><p>Next I drew the house freehand & tried a looser colour & sketching style, more in the style of <a href="https://www.housesketcher.nl/home_english.html" target="_blank"> Albert Kiefer</a> from the Domestika class. I think this one is my favourite!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWpv0Ujyw76P9SDUv7qZ_uDi6_PwhodAdlGKBXvVN724iFB0f_9MKRFXKzi-KV-07479bdJty_mZq5_OAE1I3SmMGKspjGEogoTdfc-d_YxurW1UKlB-uQee5XzL3_xuDa4Qom-zpRq_6MABCWPoatOD2zEjqEhOCA2HLlwEvjFkrcvrYjDVfVsRsmYA/s3264/C9E7479E-52DF-4B08-B860-C9B9D4424310.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3264" data-original-width="2448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWpv0Ujyw76P9SDUv7qZ_uDi6_PwhodAdlGKBXvVN724iFB0f_9MKRFXKzi-KV-07479bdJty_mZq5_OAE1I3SmMGKspjGEogoTdfc-d_YxurW1UKlB-uQee5XzL3_xuDa4Qom-zpRq_6MABCWPoatOD2zEjqEhOCA2HLlwEvjFkrcvrYjDVfVsRsmYA/s320/C9E7479E-52DF-4B08-B860-C9B9D4424310.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: left;">Number 3 was a super quick sketch, experimenting with some different colours. I have spent a bit of time over the weekend cleaning & oiling the 66, as well as reading up about care & repair of vintage machines. Scrolling through the videos on YouTube by Alex Askaroff - vintage machine guru! - I found a video demonstrating how to do free motion embroidery on the 201. It was a ball of yarn & accompanying pattern from the wonderful “ Stiches ‘n’ things” craft shop in Lakes Entrance. Bought & started a few years ago, but then put aside & buried in the knitting basket. But once I finished it I wore it a LOT though the cold weather this year.<p></p><p> I LOVE the autumn colours, and the added design on the tail, & pattern throughout the scarf. Basically a boomerang scarf but way more fancy! I must remember to take a photo of it laid out flat to show off the pattern, but this is one photo I have of me actually wearing it - taken a couple of weeks ago when we went to have a look at the Coburg Lake overflowing after the rain. </p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-36438649929551119732022-10-26T21:47:00.000+11:002023-04-17T22:46:39.865+10:00Meet the newest member of the family…<p> …my sewing family that is!</p><p>I love sewing with my vintage Singer 201K, and have learnt a lot about vintage sewing machines from the fb group “ Vintage Sewing Machines Australia and New Zealand”. I often look on fb marketplace and dream about buying a vintage machine to repair myself, and maybe turning one into a hand cranked machine. </p><p>Then on Sunday night, a vintage 66k was offered up in a local fb group. I sent a message to say I was interested, and collected it yesterday!</p><p>She is just sooo pretty! 1935 Lotus finish 66K, love the design, and she has a spoked wheel so all I need to buy is a crank handle. And get my H to design and build a timber box base!</p><p>Will keep you posted…</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_B-OqpB7gIEcrl45APTA_umvPNYc6zSaLlyiA2D0y2tgBK0D8JGYXZr0FWuAYECRfrGyyDkL_QCdXZF4fIeCKlS61DpGad6_SG18s_6TTb_C_rimgE1bMQNWnEkIBtlWMMk_s3DYNoykyh1LVv733ZkUqJIxg1m1cJceF6EVcwfJKSBt1kYXVIQBQuw/s3264/692A7AC7-66AA-41DF-A833-083FD919402A.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_B-OqpB7gIEcrl45APTA_umvPNYc6zSaLlyiA2D0y2tgBK0D8JGYXZr0FWuAYECRfrGyyDkL_QCdXZF4fIeCKlS61DpGad6_SG18s_6TTb_C_rimgE1bMQNWnEkIBtlWMMk_s3DYNoykyh1LVv733ZkUqJIxg1m1cJceF6EVcwfJKSBt1kYXVIQBQuw/s320/692A7AC7-66AA-41DF-A833-083FD919402A.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6ywhZO3DV0zLoY6MM8cX0-oZjkRQPkMvp-hDU0V4a_WntpT2Xp7RLU5HCmpGiX3fkcIW9Zi2r4aCiHL_TBgN_Pa-MdPG5a6mODZegEulVQ43S9dUUZTw3QnVzwUK8Ie-sXeoAv-bKNpPiwYLh-VWVPPMCNsYiucsJLIM1tQGHbwJnTEzV2mewI754eQ/s3264/3C3375E0-5E12-4F46-AD70-19E5EC75D73B.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3264" data-original-width="2448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6ywhZO3DV0zLoY6MM8cX0-oZjkRQPkMvp-hDU0V4a_WntpT2Xp7RLU5HCmpGiX3fkcIW9Zi2r4aCiHL_TBgN_Pa-MdPG5a6mODZegEulVQ43S9dUUZTw3QnVzwUK8Ie-sXeoAv-bKNpPiwYLh-VWVPPMCNsYiucsJLIM1tQGHbwJnTEzV2mewI754eQ/s320/3C3375E0-5E12-4F46-AD70-19E5EC75D73B.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-55131754358056047782022-10-21T23:06:00.002+11:002023-04-17T22:48:27.778+10:00Pattern tracing <p> I found a box of carbon sheets at an op shop a while back, & for $1 figured it was worth buying in case it came in handy for something someday… I thought of it on the weekend when I wanted to trace a pattern, why did I never think of it before! Tracing a paper pattern was SOOOO easy using the carbon sheet! Will definitely be using this method from now on! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixoMp2hBp6qb1HxHrzq-OBJvIYC28Ctg85qInNRFBweVQArSAVOXjE6mxzOpuRPKc7iEZkIf3tPPODYsqdAymcJB_DEgJUdyAbg3hqxoTvJwdXGw6iHlyTyOaMpMeTYb1-d8k60gkWARq2LWTwu4CQQqySwdnjxr9CA6mLfMTqDHZ6TGFl7I5A01kkgw/s3264/A79D9CB2-2F3B-4802-9DC5-042359534A84.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixoMp2hBp6qb1HxHrzq-OBJvIYC28Ctg85qInNRFBweVQArSAVOXjE6mxzOpuRPKc7iEZkIf3tPPODYsqdAymcJB_DEgJUdyAbg3hqxoTvJwdXGw6iHlyTyOaMpMeTYb1-d8k60gkWARq2LWTwu4CQQqySwdnjxr9CA6mLfMTqDHZ6TGFl7I5A01kkgw/s320/A79D9CB2-2F3B-4802-9DC5-042359534A84.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-28752253349786207562022-09-16T22:23:00.001+10:002023-04-17T22:48:43.680+10:00Drawing a line<p> I have been trying to get back into drawing again - not that I have done anything much lately! I occasionally watch some drawing videos on YouTube, and have been wanting to try drawing buildings. I found an amazing “ urban sketcher” online, and subscribed to her posts/ videos. Her name is Liz Steel, & she is a former architect turned full time artist/ blogger/ teacher. I love her style, and also her reviews of different sketching tools ( paints, pens, pencils etc.).</p><p>I have a set of watercolour pencils I have had for years, but had not heard of watercolour markers until recently. I bought a set of Monte Mart markers, but they are the first MM product I have been disappointed with! They are fine as regular markers, but I could not really get any result by adding water!</p><p>So I bought some Staedler markers from Officeworks - our local branch here in Coburg has put in a HUGE art section, sooo many lovely things…anyway, I need to play a bit more with the markers and try out different types of paper, but so far so good. I have not done much, just some little doodles to try them out. I was inspired by Liz Steel’s drawing of her tea cups, so tried playing with colours, and also drawing things on my desk! I definitely need to play a bit more, but the colours & painterly effects are quite nice.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6mxisEdtgCTsuknJLwvXj5pGqmSXcd_8bwfU0Wczpf2wydHHAchBuAYpZZjda4Kgzc2pQk78H5daEBQ7TvK64kSlnEv0Y9vrRBcgru6SbbMfpVYgQsmsAVn82DiCUO8IY1UisOQwd5obhwqkesVKDXlQSJczwjE_w47-aEsaO9DVrudpO8JmVaJWwnA/s3264/26F6FF3A-9A2B-4609-80A1-B82C8E389143.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2448" data-original-width="3264" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6mxisEdtgCTsuknJLwvXj5pGqmSXcd_8bwfU0Wczpf2wydHHAchBuAYpZZjda4Kgzc2pQk78H5daEBQ7TvK64kSlnEv0Y9vrRBcgru6SbbMfpVYgQsmsAVn82DiCUO8IY1UisOQwd5obhwqkesVKDXlQSJczwjE_w47-aEsaO9DVrudpO8JmVaJWwnA/s320/26F6FF3A-9A2B-4609-80A1-B82C8E389143.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnTcTY7oIx4u6OM26tN_R1etyQXXylehYGZPj8CNl3hxAOzPnP6bqaSZICNnj9ThhCCTvTqtVdgB7B62RSm1U4iqPl2MynjR-VVuK2Orrk30BBqxSalA0YbVRCwWl_fgx81tYRq0byWOrR23cOwEJOm0NdDnuRmMLyjVR2a3Juxn_iXbsjIAuQfu-erQ/s3264/7E525B7B-6AD3-44C0-B9CF-B86CF89653F1.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3264" data-original-width="2448" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnTcTY7oIx4u6OM26tN_R1etyQXXylehYGZPj8CNl3hxAOzPnP6bqaSZICNnj9ThhCCTvTqtVdgB7B62RSm1U4iqPl2MynjR-VVuK2Orrk30BBqxSalA0YbVRCwWl_fgx81tYRq0byWOrR23cOwEJOm0NdDnuRmMLyjVR2a3Juxn_iXbsjIAuQfu-erQ/s320/7E525B7B-6AD3-44C0-B9CF-B86CF89653F1.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitXA3PB8KWcdgR1rhCEpcO0fax0Qf9LY2-N9d2UNvF1qrhQqnqTg-uEj6B3q3Xs7JICoHW4oisaJK8-OVW2mym51Bb8pHhTHLTsG2D2GjubQF0J2eMwwXcl-H8SPFv8QVC5aOXVwFYe3PRiLQDiMdsLV3mpmVgNcRlCMdeUeqb_9v8BQAx1ZI7a9hF0A/s848/1CE0C7A3-8B44-42FE-936C-800D4CBC173D.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="794" data-original-width="848" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitXA3PB8KWcdgR1rhCEpcO0fax0Qf9LY2-N9d2UNvF1qrhQqnqTg-uEj6B3q3Xs7JICoHW4oisaJK8-OVW2mym51Bb8pHhTHLTsG2D2GjubQF0J2eMwwXcl-H8SPFv8QVC5aOXVwFYe3PRiLQDiMdsLV3mpmVgNcRlCMdeUeqb_9v8BQAx1ZI7a9hF0A/s320/1CE0C7A3-8B44-42FE-936C-800D4CBC173D.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Diannehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15144180266896805067noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-330645227766601133.post-83947739305074904682022-08-05T23:43:00.001+10:002022-08-05T23:43:27.867+10:00(nearly) invisible mendingI found a wool jumper at an op shop in the school hols, it was only $2 but had a couple of holes in it.
