I love all the shades of blue in this, I was a bit tempted to keep it actually! The back is a gorgeous indigo cotton weave from Spotlight, but it is a heavy fabric and I broke a couple of needles before swapping to a leather needle to quilt the layers together!
Another awesome quilt. Yes sometimes it is hard to part with things we create because, well I do anyway, create things which I like!
ReplyDeleteTry a titanium coated needle they do break if you forget to change the foot when you go to do zigzag (I may have done this!) but otherwise I find them really great although a little expensive.
