the countdown begins...4 weeks til Comic-Con

After weeks of research, figuring out a pattern, making a toile etc- I finally drafted the pattern and got the front sewn today! ( any guesses?!!)

    It looks very complex! I don't know enough popular culture to guess what the costume is, but I will look forward to seeing the finished outfit.

    It is definitely the most involving pattern I have ever sewn, and it involved a LOT of pattern drafting and adjusting! Thankfully today it is nearly done, just the collar, hems, front closure and possibly lining ( which still seems a lot but at least I have the pattern now!
